Khaptad National Park Trek
Khaptad National Park trek is located in the mid-mountain region of the Far-western Nepal. The National park is established in the year 1984, spreading across the area of 225sq km, cover a unique ecosystem of the mid mountain region, thus, allowing the visitors to enjoy the vegetation type that ranges from the subtropical forest to the temperate forest full of variety of medicinal herbs. Khaptad national park is also home of animals, offers like musk deer, wild boar, porcupine, leopard, Himalayan Yellow-throated marten, Himalayan black bear, goral, jackal, Himalayan Thar, wolf, and common Langur etc. The park is also known as bird’s paradise where you will see different type of birds like Himalayan griffin cuckoos, Monal, Danphe, kalij, chyakhura, dhukor, titra red and yellow-billed blue magpie etc. From the park you can see the Api and Saipal Himalayan ranges.
Besides its natural beauty Khaptad also has a rich spiritual history. Khaptad Baba - also known as Swami Sachchidananda, the renowned spiritual saint after which this region takes its name, is said to have meditated here for 50 years. Time your visit with the full moon in July and August when Hindu pilgrims come to worship Lord Shiva in the Khaptad Baba Ashram.

Day 07: Khaptad Campsite (3020 m) - Bichpani Camp (2905 m) 5 hrs
Day 08: Bichpani Camp (2905 m) - Silgadhi (1340 m) 5 hrs
Day 09: Drive to Dhangadhi 9 hrs
Day 10: Flight Dhangadhi - Kathmandu
Day 11: Rest day in Kathmandu
Day 12: Final departure to the Airport
