Hinduism played a big role in the history of Nepal, which until 2008 was the only Hindu state in the world. Nepal has 126 castes and ethnic groups speaking as many as 123 languages.

The 33 Million Gods of Hinduism, Hindus worship so many gods and goddesses which is a real mystery to most of the people. Home to more temples than houses, Nepal is an epicenter of culture. Kathmandu Valley is known as the city of temples. It also has Buddhist monasteries and stupas. Cultural tours in Nepal offer to visit Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites and possibly see cultural events and festivals during the tour.

The 12-day Nepal cultural tour is designed to cover most of Nepal's natural and cultural splendor. We begin our cultural tour by visiting the heritage sites, temples, and monuments in Kathmandu Valley and then proceed to Nagarkot Sightseeing. Afterwards, head to Chitwan National Park to enjoy canoeing, bird-watching and jungle safaris. The next stop would be Lumbini - the birthplace of Buddha. While returning from Lumbini, we stop at Pokhara and enjoy its many cultural and natural sites. Afterwards, drive to Panauti Bazaar and Dhulikhel via Kathmandu to appreciate the sunrise view over the Himalayas. Finally, return to Kathmandu to catch an onward flight to your home.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, and you are welcomed by the hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, you have a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square, the place of the Malla and then the Shah Kings of Nepal. You will visit Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess; Swayambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill - from here you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu; Patan city, the second largest town in the valley, Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple etc. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Sightseeing then drive to Nagarkot
After breakfast, we will take you on a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley – Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. We keep going for walk to see the huge of stupa of Buddha, also known as Boudhanath, the largest stupa in Nepal. Afterward taking a drive to Bhaktapur, a fascinating town, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square featuring the Victorian illustrations style with temples and temples complex. Then drive to Nagarkot for stay overnight. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 04: Drive Nagarkot to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, appreciate the sunrise view over the Himalayas, and then we will travel overland from Nagarkot to Chitwan National Park. Where you can experience lots of Safari activities, such as jungle walks, canoeing, Elephant safaris and so forth. Once the night falls down, we entertain you with cultural performances including bonfire before getting in bed. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 05: A full day of Sightseeing in Chitwan national Park
After breakfast, you can get a full day safari activities in Royal Chitwan national Park - if you are lucky, you will see many amazing creatures that you spend most time to looking for, including rhinoceroses, Chitwan's royal Bengal tigers, leopards, monkeys, many types of deer and reptiles. Check your camera gear - preferably with a telephoto lens and you will not miss any shots. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 06: Drive Chitwan to Lumbini
After breakfast, drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. In the afternoon, you will visit Lumbini Garden, where the Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, and visits the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stands up on a lotus pedestal. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 07: Drive Lumbini to Pokhara via Palpa.
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara Via Palpa. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 08: Pokhara City Sightseeing
In the early morning, drive to Sarangkot to enjoy the sunrise view over the Himalayas. After breakfast, you will have a half day sightseeing of Pokhara city, the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. Enjoy the morning trip along the bank of Phewa Lake, you can admire the stunning view of the Fish Tail's Peak reflected in the silver surface of the water. You can also see the wonderful Annapurna panorama forms a superb backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Aside from Phewa Lake, we keep visiting the Seti River gorge - one of the best places to see, Mahendra Gufa, used to be well-known for its stalactites. In the evening walk around Lakeside Market. Stay overnight at hotel

Day 09: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. You can appreciate the stunning view along the way. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 10: Drive Kathmandu to Dhulikhel
In the morning drive to Panauti Bazar, visit Panauti Bazar and in the afternoon, drive to Dhulikhel. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 11: Drive Dhulikhel to Kathmandu
The whole morning is free, and you can appreciate the sunrise view over the Himalayas. You can walk up the thousand steps hill for good view and temple. In the afternoon drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu
You will be transferred to the airport to connect the onward flight.
