For more adventurous travelers, there are 18 minor peaks designated for Alpine climbing under the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). These “Trekking Peaks” are governed by rules and regulations set by the NMA, and detailed information—along with permit applications—can be accessed through government-registered trekking companies or directly from the NMA.

It’s important to note that most of these minor peaks require snow and ice climbing experience. To obtain a climbing permit, you must apply through a registered trekking agency, and hiring a qualified climbing guide is mandatory. Permits are not issued without a certified guide.

As a licensed and experienced trekking agency, Alpine Adventure Club provides all necessary arrangements—including trained climbing guides, high-altitude assistants, and porters. Every year, we assist expedition teams in successfully summiting peaks across the Himalayas, including some of the highest and most breathtaking in the world.

While previous climbing experience is not strictly required for every peak, climbers must be physically fit and mentally prepared for the demands of high-altitude alpine climbing. With the right preparation and our professional support, your climb will be both safe and rewarding.
