Tsum Valley Trek
Tsum Valley Trek is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley which is newly opened trekking route situated in Manaslu region of Nepal. Of course, Tsum Valley trekking trail is less crowded than other popular trekking destinations of Nepal, takes to you off the beaten path.
The Tsum Valley's acquaintance with Tibet, natural beauty and its pristine culture make this trekking unique. Tsum comes from the Tibetan work 'Tsombo', which means vivid. Against the majestic backdrop of the Sringi Himal, Ganesh Himal, and Baudha Himal ranges, this serene Himalayan valley is rich in ancient art, culture, and religion. The local people are mostly of Tibetan origin and seak a unique dialect.
Trails are strewn with artistic chortens and lined with mani walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers. The Tsum valley has a long history of Buddhism. The Buddhist saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated in the caves of mountains. Traditionally, Tsum Valley was a culturally distinct geographical area called 'Tsum Tso Chuksum', which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory.
The ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom are still visible today. Due to its remoteness and inaccessibility, this sacred valley and its people have been bypassed by mainstream development for centuries. As a result, the unique culture of this valley has remained intact.
Tsum Valley trekking is also known as Manaslu Tsum Valley trekking. It is possible to combine with Manaslu circuit trek those required long and more challenging trekking. Still in Tsum Valley there are very basic lodging facilities, even some places we need to sleep in dormitory rooms and eat basic meals with local people.

Day 04: Machha khola (930 m) trek to Jagat (1340 m) 7 hrs
Day 05: Jagat (1340 m) trek to Lokpa (2240 m) 7 hrs
Day 06: Lokpa (2240 m) trek to Chumling (2385 m) 5 hrs
Day 07: Chumling (2385 m) trek Chhokang Paro (3031 m) 5-6 hrs
Day 08: Chhokang Paro (3031m) trek to Chhule (3347 m) 6-7 hrs
Day 09: Chhule (3347 m) trek to Mu Gompa (3700 m) 3 hrs
Day 10: Mu Gompa (3700 m) trek to Rachen (3240 m) 5 hrs
Day 11: Rachen (3240 m) trek to Domje (2460 m) 6 hrs
Day 12: Domje (2460 m) trek to Gumba Lungdang (3200 m) 6 hrs
Day 13: Day hike/exploration to Ganesh Himal Base Camp (4200 m) 6-7 hrs
Day 14: Gumba Lundang to Lokpa (2240 m) 7 hrs
Day 15: Lokpa to Jagat (1340 m) 6 hrs
