Francesco and FedericaHoneymoon Annapurna trek
We had an unforgettable experience with Alpine adventure club as we booked our 3 weeks honeymoon trip in Nepal with this agency. Binod (owner) always listened to our needs, before and during the trip. Everything was arranged accordingly. Bhairab (guide) and Uttam (porter) did a great job during the trek, safety has always been a priority. They did more then expected to let us feel comfortable and have a wonderful time. Ramesh (Kathmandu city guide) job was also very appreciated by us. Would recommend this company 10/10.

Marion and PaulStrenuous and demanding trek but very exhilarating journey.
Superb Mountain View’s.

We had excellent weather conditions for the two passes (Renjo La Pass and Cho La Pass) trek and Everest Base Camp. Our guide and porter were excellent. As we are aged 68 and 73 years old we needed some additional help from our guide to help us down some very steep and slippery sections of the trail. But all went well.

Soumia Nepal Incredible Experience!
Endless thanks, respect for this company (Alpine Adventure Club) and the people who runs it! From my initial email, Binod was prompt, organized and helpful, creating the perfect personalized itinerary to suit our timeframe and hiking level. My group of 7 and I had an amazing experience trekking the Mardi Himal trail to its Base Camp guided by our brilliant & beloved guide Bishnu and his porters’ team. Bishnu went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and happy. What an unforgettable trip It was. The energy this company has is absolutely amazing! Experiencing the immaculate Himalayan mountains, lovely Tea Houses, Nepali culture, is something you can’t pass up! Looking forward to being back in Nepal with these people who feel like family.

Heartfelt gratitude for an adventure that was life affirming in every sense. Led by Bishnu & his incredible team of human beings we were immersed in the culture and majestic surroundings of Nepal, Pokhara & Kathmandu. Alpine Adventure Club’s degree of professionalism , kindness and technical expertise allowed our entire team be both safe & successful in reaching Mardi Base Camp. We shared in the celebration with our Alpine Adventure Club family. We felt shared joy in every moment of our time together. I will never forget this experience.

Unforgettable Trip with a Compassionate Guide

What an amazing trip! Our guide Bishnu and his entire crew were professional and accommodating. My group felt safe and taken care of. I was particularly delighted with how excited and in awe the whole staff was with the mountains still after years of experiencing them! Would rebook without any hesitation.

Roberto RosiFrom a Trekking company to friends!

It took me a while to write this review because after you come back from Nepal, and perhaps after coming back from Asia in general for the first time, the brain must process all the wonders it got to see. What was clear to me early on, however, was that without Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition, this trip would not have been the one I will remember for a lifetime. After maturing the decision to go on my first solo intercontinental trip, to explore the world's most beautiful mountains and up to Everest Base Camp, I realized early on that I would need someone truly reliable because I was simultaneously exploring unknown territories (inside and outside of myself). So, after a close and always clear correspondence with the owner of the company, the great Binod Thapa, I decided to put my trust in them, reassured by the fact that Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition-as well as being recognized by the Nepalese government-is also recommended by the Lonely Planet guidebook, with whom I have always traveled around Europe.

Right from the start, it was clear to me that the choice had been the right one: the welcome at the airport made me immediately realize what wonderful people I had been fortunate enough to have entrusted myself to. With a necklace of fresh flowers waiting for me, there was the great Bishnu Panta, who I was pleased to discover would be the guide who would accompany me throughout the challenge: always smiling, with so much experience behind him and with that twinkle in his eye that only those who truly love the mountains can have.

With him, with Ramesh, and under the careful supervision of Binod - who personally made sure that I had everything I needed each day - I thus set off first to explore Kathmandu and its beautiful UNESCO sites, then to the mountains where, despite the obvious constraints, every situation was handled optimally by Bishnu, who guided me not only on the long road but also psychologically, helping me to cope with the more strenuous stretches and the little annoyances that altitude inevitably always brings.

Thus, on my return, greeted by everyone warmly, I was able to tell my friends that in Nepal, I did not only see the most beautiful mountains in the world, nor did I successfully achieve all the goals I had set for myself: I also had the good fortune to meet wonderful people, who cared about me as if they had known me all my life. That is why I recommend Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition to everyone: because it is only thanks to them that my eyes were filled with those beautiful images. It may sound strange, but I know that - after what they have done for me - I can call them "friends" without exaggeration.

Kai Xin QuahMultiday Trek organized by Mr Binod Thapa - highly recommended !
A big thank you to Mr Binod and his great team for giving me a wholesome experience in Nepal ! Raj was my city guide in Kathmandu. He is a knowledgeable guide whom I am thankful to have met. His personal sharing during the sight-seeing trip has kept me interested in the Nepali’s cultural practices and the more down-to-earth aspects of life through a new lens. As for the trekking experience, an initial change in weather condition meant temporary closure of domestic flight at Lukla airport (the only instant access to my primary trek destination) which no human can predict. Thankfully, Binod and his team, who has had experience in the field for more than 15 years, was able provide considerably thoughtful advise: they even kept my international flight departure schedule in view (which I myself have overlooked). Eventually, they were able to come up with many alternative suggestions for me. Following discussion with this readily supportive team, I decided to transit to an interestingly rustic and culturally vibrant Langtang and Halembu Trek.

Binod and team made it possible for me to reach the starting point of my trek within the same day very seamlessly. A big thank you to the remarkably skilful jeep driver who went ahead with driving an approximately 122km to bring us to an altitude of at least 1,503 meters above seas level – just so I could set off for my trek the next day as planned – even if it meant driving from Syabrubesi back to Kathmandu for yet another 7-8 hours in darkness alone. The trek that Binod and team had suggested was even more amazing. It turned out that we were lucky enough to trek along the beautifully snow-covered Lauribina pass on a September! While there was a change of initial plan, I found the overall experience with this team reassuring as my desire to trek remained not only unimpeded but still full of possibilities.

As a solo trekker, I feel immensely thankful to Mr Bhairav and Mr Uttam who were on foot along the with me. They will remain as my most invaluable and trusted people to trek with, for providing me with the most fitting advice and providing me support and encouragement with where my physical strength was met with challenge along the trek. Having trekked through the rugged Himalayan terrains from a young age, it is without any doubt that Bhairav and Uttam are familiar with any paths ahead. When I can only keep trekking on with faith and a sense of curiosity of how the next tea-houses and sceneries ahead would be like, there was an additional sense of security when trekking with these qualified and experienced individuals as they were clearly in the knowing of what lies ahead of my trek.

They were always ready to give me a helping hand at many points of the trek e.g. across rivers or rubbles that could potentially give way. While it is hard for everyone’s schedule to coincide, I do hope that I will be lucky enough to trek with Bhairav and Uttam again when I head back to Nepal again someday. Bhairav is a humorous guide who have a strong sense of dedication and good sense of humour to lighten things up along the trek when the going gets tough. Uttam is also a man of great strength whom I hope to trek alongside with, as my friend, without having him to carry the unnecessary load of my over-packed items on the trek in the future.

Binod and his team is certainly equipped with a high level of expertise to turn any trekking experience into wonderful trekking memories that will last a lifetime. These individuals make for a truly professional, experienced and dedicated company for any avid trekkers to liaise with. This post is a mark of my respect, appreciation and gratitude for every one of them.

Armin, Michael & KurtEBC via Gokyo, Could not be better, highly recommended
We were a group of three looking for a trekking tour in the shadow of the most famous summits of our globe. Binod, owner and managing director made it happen. We contacted him almost half a year in advance, he designed a great tour and gave us many helpful tips (e.g. equipment rental in KTM etc..) Finally he provided the best guides out of his pool for the 13 days trekking and the 2 days sightseeing in KTM area. We always felt treated like friends and comparing with what we have seen on our way we are sure we made the right decision to cooperate with Alpine Adventure Club. Some points of the tour: Lukla, Namche Bazaar, Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri, Cho La Pass, Gorak Shep, Kala Patthar, EBC, Dinboche, Lukla.

We finally could follow the initial itinerary, generally I recommend to stay flexible, weather and physical condition have to be considered. Bisnu, our guide was always checking and offering the best options for the next day. Finally it was an amazing adventure we will never ever forget. Thanks Binod, Bisnu, Ramesh and last but not least our 2 porters who did a great job.

Doris Antonia EgliAnnapurna Trekking and Roundtrip
I worked more than 35 years in tourism. The 8 days Annapurna Trekking was organized by Binod Thapa the owner of Alpine Adventure Club. He has more than 15 years of experience. He also organized a roundtrip through Nepal. I visited Daman, Gorkha, Bandipur, Dhulikel, Nugakot, Shivapuri hill, Bhaktapur, Patan and other places. I can only recommend Alpine Aventure Tours in Kathmandu.

Pirjo, Kimmo & KatjaAnnapurna Base Camp trek / September 2018
Alpine Adventure Club arranged us an amazing trek to Annapurna Base Camp and tickets to the mountain flight to Mt Everest. Our original plan was to trek to Everest Base Camp, but all flights to Lukla were cancelled due to weather conditions. We decided to go to Annapurna instead and Alpine planned us a new trekking itinerary.

Our hotel accommodation both in Kathmandu and Pokhara were very nice and convenient. All arrangements during the trek worked smoothly. Alpine team took good care of us all the time.

We had only one problem during our trekking holiday. Our itinerary ascended from 2600 to 3700 meters in one day and further to 4100 meters the next day. This was way too fast and we got symptoms of acute mountain sickness when we reached our destination, Annapurna Base Camp. We were supposed to stay one night at ABC, but had to leave and go down rapidly before darkness. Please check your itinerary and insist a gradually increasing elevation.

Thank you for the excellent service to Binod (owner), Bishnu (our mountain guide), Uttam and Badri (our mountain porters) and Ramesh (our city guide in Kathmandu).

Ding NingClassic Everest Base Camp Trekking in 9 Days Excellent with Alpine!

Between August 20th and 28th, I with my travel buddy went for this classic EBC trekking in just 9 days, 6 days up and 3 days down. The trip was organized by Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition, Kathmandu. We removed the 2 acclimatation days, due to our limited time, but it has been proved that this might not be a good decision. However, yes, I had a great experience of both hiking and sightseeing in Himalayas, and thanks for the great service done by our trekking guide Bishnu, our porter Kut and our trip manager Binod. Specially, Binod always responded to my calls and emails quickly before we arrived in Nepal, and he offered a great dinner after the trip. The route was clear, and the lodge and transportation were also pretty good for me. Next time when I plan another natural trip in Nepal, I will contact Alpine again. O.K. You may see a few pictures of mine on Instagram @ding_journey. I leave some advises here, hopefully helpful!

1. According to my guide, the best months for this EBC trekking, if you want the best sightseeing, should be October, November, March and April. But you may experience the crowded lodging in these months. I went there in late August, still in the rain season, so I saw majorly clouds and fogs. Only on August 27th, I saw the mountain peaks and took some good pictures. Also, since it was mostly cloudy, the regular flights were canceled so we waited in Lukla for two days. We used the helicopter back to Kathmandu. Despite these problems, the hiking experience was great! Also, since there were less people, I could get closer to the nature.

2. I will not recommend removing the 2 acclimatation days. Before the trip, I was confident in my outdoor experience and health, but well, on August 25th at EBC, I felt extremely tired and suffered headaches, nausea, and some faintness. I had to give up the early morning hiking to Kala Pattar on the 26th. In the 9 days, I walked continuously and had no chances to rest. Hence, the 11 days and more should be much better in my view, if you have sufficient time and money.

3. I was kindly reminded by my guide that the tips to the porter and the guide, for two tourists, were better if it was no less than 100 USD for each staff. So, we totally tipped about 110 USD to the porter and about 130 USD to the guide.

4. The itinerary provide by the trip company was 99.5% correct. Please make sure what they offer and what they do not offer.

5. The prices of goods and services at the lodges and the tea houses went up as I went highly. Preparing NPR cash equal to 8 - 20 USD per day per person should be good. Battery charging, hot shower, WI-FI, if they have, may take a lot. The local people only accepted NPR cash and there was not any ATM during the trip. My guide generously lent me some NPR making me easier.

Enrico Bonora and LudwigLangtang valley and Gosainkunda Lake Trek
12 days trekking in Langtang valley and Gosainkunda Lake with Alpine Adventure Club and Mr Binod Thapa. With the guide and the porter an amazing adventure with max elevation on Kyanjin Ri 4778. Langtang valley has been rebuilding after heathquake 2015 and we had a fantastic experience with no problems at all. Wonderful views and mindful experience. Thanks a lot to all the team. .

Thad Ball and Timothy LitzenburgMy friend and I booked a 5-day trek in the Annapurna region and had a fantastic time. Binod of Alpine Adventure Club is very professional and guided us through all the requirements of trekking in Nepal. He created an itinerary based on our interests and we could not be happier with the experience. Our guides, Ari and Utom, were fantastic travel companions and made the trip very enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend booking a trek in Nepal through Alpine Adventure club. Everything was top notch. One final note: at the last minute my friend and I decided we would like to take a flight to view Mount Everest. Binod and Ari were able to arrange the flight at a moments notice and we had a great time. Overall, it was a great experience.

Joanna and ChrisWe’ve made the Ebc (Everest base camp) trek including sightseeing days in Kathmandu. Everything was very well organized beginning from the airport pick up, the hotel in Kathmandu, the sightseeing and the trek service was excellent over the whole time which made the holidays a great experience without any problems. The Guides (Trek and sightseeing guide) explained about Nepal and the mountains and we were always in good handles. We recommend the company to all who want to enjoy their first trip to Nepal as we did. Thanks for the great experience ...

Anke FamilyAs our trek started with cancelled flights to Lukla two days after we had opportunity to appreciate the all-arranged service of the company which readily rescheduled and re-organized our trekking so on the second day we flew to Pokhara and went for the Annapurna Base comp trek - which was amazing we were pleasantly surprised pie the rich rhododendron and bamboo forests which cover most of the lower valleys our guide was very experienced and always good - humored , Just the same as the never tiring two potters, they would greet us playing football when we finally arrived the roughly exhausted at our destination lodge. Generally the lodges were well- chosen and comfy.

Also, one advantage of doing a very popular trekking route is that you always meet a lot of friendly co-trekkers for a nice chat in the evening. The weather was not constantly excellent - there were a few really heavy downpours , But we were lucky and when we got up to the M BC and ABC the view was superb in the night as well as in the day. All in all, a very nice, a great experience! - Anke, sigrun and Burkhard (Germany)

Kopetz FamilyNamaste! We came to Nepal for a family vacation. We wanted to trek in the Annapurna Region so we looked for a touring company and we found Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition. The connection with Binod was excellent! He helped us prepare for the trip. When we arrived everything was supreme! The transportations were on time, the service was great and the people were kind. The trekking was amazing and the guide and porters were very nice! We recommend Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition Company very much!

Nicola and TenningDear Mr Binod, Namastè!
I wish to thank you for the excellent organization of our trip. We were not very lucky with the weather but we enjoyed our time spent in Nepal and we wish to thank especially our guide for his kindness during the trekking and the days spent in Chitwan and Pokhara and tour guide for all the information and knowledge he shared with us during the visit of Kathmandu and surrounding cities of the Valley. We also wish to thank porter who carried our bag during the trekking and our driver, we felt very safe to be with him during our drives around Nepal. We hope one day to come back and hopefully have the chance to visit Tibet.Thank you and all the Best! - Nicola and Tenning (Italy and USA)

Namaste! Our 6 days trekking was amazing. It was wonderful to walk through out the lovely villages, meeting people and also the breathing views of the mountains.
We loved the guest house too. And the staff is very very good. Our guide and porter were great!! We are happy to say they became like family to both of us during this trip. Many thanks Binod, Pen asking and hope we'll be back soon!

Best Regards

David & Wendy GallowayI goggled companies that do the trekking in the Everest region and 3 came up immediately. I replied to them all and Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition answered me straight away. They were excellent with informing me with what you would expect and what we needed to bring etc. felt reassured that everything would be fine, Binod’s organization was great. Everything’s worked like clock work. Our guide you could not fault in anyway. He made the trip a trip of a life time. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to any one – I could not fault the whole adventure.
- David & Wendy Galloway (SCOTLAND )

Thanks ALPINE ADVENTURE CLUB for Excellent two week trek. When bad weather cancelled our original plans BINOD quickly arranged an alternative that exceeded our expectations. Overall a very professional organization and satisfying experience.

conny and helmutAnnapurna Circuit - Annapurna Base Camp Oktober/November 2011 We did a 25 days long trek and were very happy to have this Alpine Adventure Club, because with our guide and the porter we could enjoy the trek without any trouble. The most time we had a room for two, sometimes with private bathroom and the most time with hot shower. Although the meals were very good. Our guide looks for everything we need and this makes the trip very relaxing. If we come back to Nepal, we plan this, we will chose the same Agency and also the same guide and porter! Thank you for the nice time in Nepal - Conny and Helmut (Bavaria)

Julia & AnneThis was our first trip to Nepal, Which we really enjoyed. The ABC trek offers impressive views on surrounding mountains, great nature and many opportunities to get to know Nepali life & culture. The trek was very well organized by Binod's Company. Even for us, as trekking beginners, the itinerary (10 days) was easily manageable. Lodges were well chosen, the hosts always friendly (True Nepali friendliness) & the food was very delicious. Thank you very much for this precious experience! Namaste from Germany.
- Julia & Anne (Germany)

Jack RichesonThis was my first trip to Nepal and my first time trekking. I was only able to spend a short time here and there was a lot that I wanted to do. The "Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition" group was very helpful in planning my trip to make the most of my time. I went trekking on a small portion of the Annapurna circuit and was very pleased. The days and distances were very manageable for a trekker of my experience. The teahouses were all clean and my guide and porter were friendly and very helpful. They told me a lot of interesting trekking stories and taught me a lot about Nepal. I would definitely use them again on another trek and recommend them to other trekkers.
- Jack Richeson (USA)

James GilchristI want to write this recommendation to say the Helambu trek I made with Binod's company was 12/10. Everything Binod described when I planned it with him turned out be exactly as he promised. My Guide was the best of company, as was the porter. After 7 days I had seen and achieved a lot in spectacular terrain, and enjoyed amazing local culture and hospitality. I'm a very happy customer!

- James Gilchrist (UK)

Hong weeThis is my second trip to Nepal. Previously, I completed the Annapurna base camp trek. This time I choose to go to Gokyo Lake. I was apprehensive as I knew little about Alpine Adventure Club what I read on their website. However, upon reaching at Kathmandu airport, I was warmly received by Binod (My trip operator) himself. He brought me to a pleasant hotel and introduced me to a very friendly and reliable trekking guide. I only get the porter when I reached at Lukla but he was just as helpful and amiable. They help me a lot when the treks proved to be very hard for me. I should also point out that Binod provided very fast email before my trip. He would offer suggestions and tips for all my queries. I highly recommend this trekking agency to anyone who wants to new the grand mountains of Nepal. - Tan Hong Wee - (Singapore)

Trekking in NepalWe have enjoyed very much the Annapurna base camp trekking. We have come back very exhausted but at the same time completely satisfied and happy. The landscapes, the mountains, the forests are incredibly beautiful but the most important has been the people. All the people en the trail were very friendly, people in Tea houses, people of different nationalities who were doing the trekking like us and over all I want to give thanks specially to our porter and our guide without their help and their company, our trekking had not been possible and finally we want to thank the boss Mr. Binod Thapa for his kind attention on every time since we contact him by internet. The Last night we enjoyed together. Thanks lot we will come back to Nepal ! NAMASTE! - Javier Ruiz and Milagros (Spain)

Everest base camp trekkingWe are a group of three Irish Backpackers in our mid twenties on the final day of our around the world trip we wished to plan the trip in advance and found the Alpine Adventure Club Treks & Expedition website (www.nepal-guide.com) very informative. Binod Thapa was very helpful and quick to respond to all our queries. On arrival in Kathmandu It was great to be welcomed by Binod Thapa and brought to his office where he gave us a detailed description of what was to be ahead of us over the next 12 days. We also got to meet our trekking guide there at the office. We found the 12 days trekking bit tough at times last arrival it was an absolutely amazing experience. We stayed in Teahouse along the route, all of which meet ok expectations. We found that both guide and porter added immensely to the quality of our trip. Our guide had very good English which allowed him to respect his knowledge of country, Area, Route, Mountains and Local Sherpa people. Thanks to all who made our Trip to Nepal so enjoyable.
