Rapid Everest Base Camp Trek - 11 Days

Rapid Everest Base Camp Trek
$1410 All Inclusive Price.

If you are strong enough and want to do the Nepal’s most popular Everest Base Camp trek even you have a tight time schedule? You need to join with our Rapid Everest Base Camp trek 11 days package itinerary, but needs to walk on trek faster/rapidly than other normal trekkers. The trek takes to you at the Base camp of Mount Everest and top of the Kala Patthar/Pattar Peak (5545 m) for the amazing mountain views with excellent sunrise. The trek begins after a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and end the trek after a flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu.

The trek route passes through Sherpa villages and old Tibetan Buddhist monasteries (gompas), mani stones whose shapes echo the mountains, prayer wheels so large that they take our full body-weight to turn, ice-cold rivers and the world’s highest suspension bridge, mossy forests and bare, high-altitude rock-scapes. And of course, views of the highest mountains in the world, Everest and Ama Dablam the most spectacular among them.

The trek route/trail is inside the Sagarmatha national park (Sagarmatha is the Nepali name for Everest), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a refuge for musk deer, red pandas, snow leopard, Himalayan tahr, black bear and many spectacular types of pheasant. The prime trekking season brings serious crowds on this trek. The best time to do the Everest Base Camp trek is in spring and autumn, but possible to do the Everest Base Camp trek anytime of the year without any difficulty.

The Rapid Everest Base camp trek is also complete all destinations of long days standard Everest Base Camp trek, but you need to walk faster and no additional day for the acclimatization entire the trekking. This trek is one of the most famous treks in the world for the great Himalayan views and to see the origin Sherpa and their culture. Of course, to reach at the Base Camp of world highest peak Mount Everest is the main goal of this trek. Although without climb the Kala Patthar Peak doesn't complete the journey because Kala Patthar offers better views than Everest Base Camp.

Nepal’s Everest Base Camp is quite different from other Base Camps treks in Nepal because we can’t see the best view of Mount Everest even from the Everest Base Camp (5364 meters) means there are other insanely tall mountains blocking some view of Mount Everest so most of the trekkers climb the non-technical peak Kala Patthar (5545 meters) for the best views of Mount Everest and surrounding Himalayas.

To make you easier to decide and plan the trek we do have some fixed departure specific dates for 2021 and 2022 so you may choose a travel date if you agree to join with other tourists in a group joining basis package. If dates don't match with your holiday schedule please let us know for a private departure then we will arrange a private trip for individually or with your family and friends as per your requirement.

Our group joining all-inclusive package cost includes normal Teahouse/Lodge accommodation in trekking but if you want to make the same trip as a private, individually or with your family and friends, then also possible to upgrade the service quality with paying additional cost (if required).

If you don't want to join with other trekkers and you wish to include in the package trek with Kathmandu section, please click Short Everest Base Camp Trek link for the complete package.

Day 02: Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
We’ll have breakfast in Phakding before gearing up for the trek to Namche Bazaar, the biggest Sherpa village in Nepal. Our trail takes us first over the Dudhkoshi River via a long suspension bridge, and then through a beautiful pine forest to Monjo, about two hours away. Soon thereafter, we will approach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park for a brief permit check and then descend to the Dudh Kosi River (spotting Mani stones along the way!) en route to Jorsale. Lunch will be served here, and then it’s uphill to Namche. Our path along the riverbank is flanked by two crossings, one of which is the Hillary Suspension Bridge. It’s a tough climb up the hill to our resting place, but you’ll be rewarded in Namche Bazaar with your first glimpse of Everest in its majesty. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3440m)
At this point, we take a well-deserved break! Today will be spent resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the lofty altitude. There’s an optional 2-hour hike to Everest View Point, an uphill walk that will help speed acclimatization. Otherwise, spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. Check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Saturdays, the Hatt Bazaar is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. We'll continue to follow the valley above the Dudh Koshi, and be treated to amazing views of Everest, as well as Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam along the way. We'll cross another high bridge at the village of Phunki Tenga, where we will stop for lunch. After a small rest, we have a steep climb to Tengboche, the site of the largest gompa (Buddhist monastery) in the region. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 05: Tengboche trek to Dingboche (4410m)
Our trek today kicks off with a walk through the rhododendron forest to Deboche followed by a bridge over the raging Imja Khol River. We’ll pass the valley wall and then traverse the plains to Pangboche village, the biggest settlement of Sherpa's in the region. Enjoy a great opportunity to observe a typical Sherpa village and have lunch with the locals! The intrepid can brave a brief hike to the Pangboche monastery, one of the oldest in the area. Our afternoon trek will be a difficult one, as the landscape gives way to dry; deserted mountains and we hike towards Dingboche. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 06: Dingboche trek to Lobuche (4910m)
The trail climbs steeply out of Dingboche past a chorten and ascends the valley gradually to Dugla at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. From here we have a short, steep climb up to Chukpo Lari, a beautiful, yet a poignant place where there is a line of memorials in tribute to the climbers who have died on Everest and from where we have a beautiful panorama of the peaks lying on the Nepal-Tibet border. The trail then eases off as we follow the valley to Lobuche, a tiny hamlet with a few teahouses. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 07: Lobuche trek to Gorak Shep (5140m) and Everest base camp (5364m)
The trail now leads along the Khumbu Glacier, providing excellent vistas of the Himalayan peaks nearby. Lunch is at Gorak Shep, and then we are back on the trail for a few hours until we reach Everest Base Camp. We will pass lesser glaciers, ice pinnacles, and the sometimes dangerous crevasses of the Khumbu along the way. The return trip to Gorak Shep is made along a higher path overlooking the Khumbu Icefall. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 08: Gorak Shep Hike to Kala Pattar (5545m) then trek to Pheriche (4260m)
We’ll wake before dawn today to trek towards Kala patthar (5545m) for the best views of a glorious sunrise over Mt. Everest. The day’s first light will decorate spectacular the view of Nuptse, Changtse and Lhotse. This may be in the whole journey, offer a most opportune moment to snap amazing pictures of Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks. Afterwards, it’s back to Gorekshep for breakfast and down in the direction of Pheriche, our nighttime stop. Our pace will be a lot brisker as we descend, and the walking is easier going this way. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 09: Pheriche trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Today’s trail descends to Debouche, rises through rhododendron forest to Tengboche. A long descent, leads back to Phunki Thenga before the climb to Sanasa (where the trail forked to Gokyo). The walk along the broad trail to Namche Bazaar is easy. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge
