Volunteering in Nepal

Various volunteering options are available in Nepal and it can also be a very exciting and enjoyable experience. Volunteering is an unique, cost effective way for you to gain life experience while helping others as a real volunteer. Participation will introduce you to real local people and not just those who deal with tourists every day. Our main Goal is to give back something for Country so mainly we fixed following programs to Volunteering Lovers.

Environmental Awareness Program
This Program mainly aims to raise awareness on environment conservation. This program includes teaching environmental science in village schools; youth clubs and women's group. It is created to educate school children and local people on issues such as environmental conservation, waste management, building smokeless store, pit latrines etc. After completing the training, volunteers will stay with the host family in their placement area assisting youth clubs, women's group of the community sharing their ideas, skills and knowledge about environmental issues.

Educational programs
This program is focused in rural schoois to teach English language. Its main objective is to impose student's basic ability of English. After the completion of the training, the volunteers will be sent to the placement area to teach English in local school.Primarily, volunteers assist local English teachers in teaching conversational English in the school.

This program aims to assist schools for their quality teaching by supplying volunteers, conducting school supporting programs. Volunteers enrolling in this program are also expected to share their own teaching methodologies as well as helping the schoolteachers to develop their conversational English skills. Volunteers can teach English in community, youth groups and women's group and also teach those children who are unable to go to school. Volunteers will teach 3-4 hours a day. The size of the class ranges from 15-50. The age of the school children will be mostly 10 to 16 years old.No teaching experience is necessary but a good knowledge of grammatical English is desirable.

Culture study programs
This program is targeted to anyone who has a keen interest in Nepal culture. After completion of intensive Nepali language training, volunteers will stay with Nepali family in village through participation in village life, volunteers will experience the different local culture, while sharing their own culture and custom. Volunteers will benefit cross-cultural experience through the cultural exchange program. The program is suitable for anybody, family, individual groups. There is no age bar for this program. This is a unique opportunity to experience Nepal with a difference that leaves a lasting impression. The opportunity to stay with multiple families in different regions of Nepal can be arranged.

Health and Sanitation Awareness Programs
This program mainly concerns about the primary health and sanitation in placement area. After completing the training, volunteers will work in village school and community to provide primary health and sanitation awareness and also teach health and sanitation at local schools.Volunteers who have strong background or training in the primary health care may also work in the health post or health center. Volunteers can raise awareness by demonstrating related activities among rural people about health and sanitation. People who are willing to experience on international health care can also apply for this program.?

  • Three time meals a day during the trekking Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner/Main course
  • Dessert (Fresh Fruits/Chocolate) after dinner on behalf of the company
  • One Experienced English-speaking, government licensed and ministry of tourism trained trekking guide and his food, accommodation, and salary.
  • Porters carrying your luggage while trekking (Two guests get one porter carrying a maximum of 25 kg of luggage)
  • Shivapuri national park entry fee
  • Insurance for Nepalese staff (Trekking guide and Porters)
  • Nepal Government taxes and office service charge

  • Lunch and Dinner during the stay in Kathmandu
  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary

  • Wire Transfer charge or Credit card service charge as company rule
  • Alcoholic beverages, laundry, Telephone calls and all types of hot drinks in Trekking
  • Soft drinks such as cola, mineral water etc
  • Hot water, battery charge and hot shower charge during the trek (If need to pay)
  • Personal nature expenses and Tipping (Tips)
  • High risk medical / travel insurance and First aid kit
  • Expenses resulting from delays beyond our control in case of weather, flight cancellations, or natural calamities
  • Emergency rescue evacuation (if needed)
  • Any other things not mentioned
