Pikey Peak Trek

The Pikey Peak Trek is a short trek for the views of Mount Everest that follows a scenic trail into the lower Everest region known as the Solu Khumbu region. From the Pikey summit, there is a panoramic view of the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest (8,848.86m) and other snow-capped mountains. Pikey Peak Trekking is a newly opened trekking route where you will get a gorgeous view of nature and you can experience the traditional life of different ethnic groups like Sherpa, Chhetri, Tamang, and Gurung. where you can taste the verities of local cuisines and observe some rare plants and animals. You can have the best view of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, on a short trek in Nepal. From Pikey peak, you can get the grand view of mountain peaks like Dhaulagiri, Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Ama Damlam, Lhotse, Nupatse, Numbur, Gaurisankhar, Langtang to the far west. Additionally, Pikey peak rewards you with one of the best sunrises and sunset views.
It offers dense forests of Sunpati, Pine, Rhododendron whereas attraction of birds and animals like Lophophorus, Crimson Horned Pheasant, tiger, wild bear, Panda, Ghoral and so on. The Pikey Peak trek has several starting and ending points. Actually, the easy route of the Pikey Peak trek starts from Dhap Bazaar and ends at Phaplu. There is good access to Dhap Bazaar and Phaplu along the motor road from Kathmandu.

Day 05: Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp (3640m) 5 hours
Day 06: Trek from Pikey Base Camp to Junbesi (2680m) 6 hours via Pikey Peak 4065m
Day 07: Exploration trip to Thuptenchholing Gompa (2920m) 4 hours
Day 08: Trek from Junbesi to Phaplu (2380m) 4 hours
Day 09: Phaplu drive to Kathmandu (1350m) 8 hours, Distance 272km
