Nepal is open now for Tourists
Nepal tourism board together with the health minister have approved “No Restrictive Quarantine period in Nepal. Through mandatory 7 days quarantine period has been lifted. Travelers entering Nepal should undergo a PCR test from an accredited laboratory and obtain a negative result which shall be valid 72 hours before arrival. After arriving in Nepal, foreign tourists will have to undergo PCR at their own expense. Foreign tourists will be able to leave the hotel for trekking, climbing or any other travel activities only after the PCR negative results. If the PCR is positive, foreign tourists will have to stay in the hotel quarantine at their own expense.
Similarly, foreign tourists will now be able to get on-arrival visa at the immigration point of Tribhuvan International Airport if they do not get visa from Nepali Mission in their country but Travellers should Travel with government registered and authorized Agency. The Agency will arrange the itinerary and Visa approval letter from Nepal tourism Board for on arrival Visa who travel by Air. However, foreigners coming to Nepal by road will be able to enter Nepal only with a visa from a Nepali embassy/mission abroad.
