Nepal Motorbike Tour Route and Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Transfer to your hotel and a short travel briefing will be given at the hotel/office, and you will be requested to pay the travel dues. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02

Sightseeing to Swayambhunath, Kathmandu and Patan

After breakfast, begin a full-day cultural tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Visit Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), a sacred Buddhist stupa perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of the city. Continue to Kathmandu Durbar Square, known for its ancient temples and royal palace. Later, explore Patan Durbar Square, a center of fine Newari architecture, art, and Buddhist heritage. If you want to test ride a motorbike, you can do so in the afternoon, after sightseeing. Enjoy the thrill of navigating the bustling streets of Kathmandu before heading to your next destination. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03

Kathmandu – Chisapani – Nagarkot – Rohini Bhanjyang – Dhulikhel

After breakfast, set off on your first ride from Kathmandu, passing through Shivapuri National Park to Chisapani. Enjoy a scenic ride and take a short walk in this tranquil hilltop area, surrounded by lush forests. Continue riding to Nagarkot, renowned for its panoramic views of the Langtang, Ganesh, and Everest ranges. Continue on the road to Rohini Bhanjyang and head toward Dhulikhel, a charming hill town offering views of the majestic Himalayas. Overnight at Hotel in Dhulikhel.

Day 04

Dhulikhel – Ride to Temal Narayanthan – Walk to Yarinak Cave – Return to Dhulikhel

After breakfast, ride from Dhulikhel to Temal Narayanthan, a sacred religious site of both Hindu and Buddhist significance. From here, continue on foot along a peaceful downhill trail through forests and villages to Yarinak Cave, a sacred meditation cave associated with Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava). This cave is an important spiritual site used by Guru Rinpoche for reflection and meditation. After exploring, retrace your steps back to Temal and ride back to Dhulikhel.

Day 05

Dhulikhel – Namobuddha – Panauti – Lakuri Bhanjyang – Kathmandu

After breakfast, ride to Namobuddha, one of the most significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Explore the area and visit the ancient Maya Devi Temple. Afterward, ride to the historic town of Panauti, famous for its temples and rich Newar culture. Ride through beautiful rural landscapes to reach Lakuri Bhanjyang, offering panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Finally, return to Kathmandu in the evening.

Day 06

Kathmandu – Gorkha – Bandipur via Dhading Besi

After breakfast, takes you west to Gorkha, the historic seat of the Shah kings. Visit the famous Gorkha Durbar (Palace) and the surrounding areas, learning about the historical significance of this region. Continue your journey to Bandipur, a picturesque hilltop town known for its well-preserved Newari culture and traditional architecture. Overnight at Hotel in Bandipur.

Day 07

Bandipur – World Peace Pagoda – Pokhara

After breakfast, ride to Pokhara, stopping to visit the World Peace Pagoda, which offers breathtaking views of Phewa Lake and the surrounding mountain ranges. Upon arrival, take a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple on the lake's island. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 08

Pokhara – Sarangkot – City Tour

Start your day early with a trip to Sarangkot, a hilltop village offering a spectacular sunrise view over the Annapurna Mountain Range. Afterward, visit the International Mountain Museum, where you’ll learn about the history of mountaineering in the region and the iconic Himalayan peaks. Later, head to Devi’s Fall, a unique waterfall that disappears into a deep gorge, and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, home to a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Don't miss visiting Seti River Gorge, where the Seti River flows through a deep and narrow gorge, offering a stunning view of the river cutting through the rocks. Day 10

Explore Lumbini – The Birthplace of Buddha

Spend the day exploring Lumbini, visiting the Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and several monastic zones. The site is home to temples and monasteries built by various countries, each reflecting their unique architectural style. Take a peaceful walk around the garden, soaking in the spiritual significance of the place.

Day 11

Lumbini – Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its wildlife. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk or a village tour to meet the indigenous Tharu community and learn about their lifestyle. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance.

Full-Day Jungle Activities in Chitwan

Experience a thrilling day of jungle activities in Chitwan National Park. You can take a jeep safari to spot wildlife such as one-horned rhinos, tigers, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. Day 13

Chitwan – Daman

Day 14

Daman – Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, where you can explore the capital at your own pace. You may also have time to shop for souvenirs before the farewell dinner. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 15

Sightseeing to Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Bhaktapur

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour starting with Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Next, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, head to the medieval city of Bhaktapur, known for its well-preserved architecture, ancient temples, and vibrant cultural heritage. Explore Bhaktapur’s Durbar Square and narrow alleys, immersing yourself in its rich history. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 16

Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home. However, depending on your flight time, you should reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure. If you have a late flight, enjoy a relaxing day in Kathmandu before your transfer. Typically, packages include accommodation, meals during the trek, guide and porter services, permits, and ground transportation. Flight costs, insurance, and personal expenses are usually excluded.

There is no strict age limit, but participants should be reasonably fit. Trekkers above 60 or with health conditions should consult a doctor before the trip.

Accommodation & Facilities

Accommodations are usually in local lodges or tea houses with basic amenities—clean beds, shared bathrooms, and dining halls.
Some lodges offer hot showers for an additional fee, but availability may be limited at higher altitudes.
Charging is available in most lodges for a fee. Power supply may be limited or solar-based, so bring a power bank as backup.

Packing & Gear

You’ll need layered clothing, good trekking boots, a daypack, a sleeping bag (if not provided), and basic toiletries. A detailed packing list will be shared upon booking.
Yes, you can rent most essential gear like down jackets, sleeping bags, and poles from local shops at affordable rates.
Keep your daypack light with only essentials (water, snacks, jacket). The porter will carry your main bag, usually limited to 10–15 kg.
