Mardi Himal Trek via Poon Hill

Mardi Himal Trek via Poon Hill

Mardi Himal Trek via Poon Hill is a picturesque trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It generally starts from Nayapul, passes through picturesque villages like Birethanti, Hile, Tikhedhunga, Ulleri, Ghorepani and climbs up to Poon Hill (3,210 m) for stunning panoramic views. The route then turns towards Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m), which offers a more secluded experience with breathtaking views, including the majestic Mardi Himal. This is a less-crowded alternative to some of the more popular treks in the area, offering a quieter mountain adventure. Combining the Mardi Himal trek with the Poon Hill trek creates a comprehensive and varied trekking experience in the Annapurna region of Nepal. This combined trek allows you to witness the sunrise from the famous Poon Hill viewpoint and explore the less-trodden trails leading to the base camp of Mardi Himal.
