Mardi Himal and Khopra Ridge Trek

Mardi Himal & Khopra Ridge Trek

Mardi Himal and Khopra ridge trek is a good combination of the two famous treks - Mardi Himal and Khopra ridge trek. Only Mardi Himal trek is short and pristine trek that was only open for teahouse trekking in 2013. The trail mostly follows the ridge climbing gradually to the buttresses of Mardi Himal making it relatively easier climbing and more scenic trek in Annapurna. Just doing Mardi Himal or Khopra ridge is not enough but if you make both treks at once visit will be fantastic journey in peaceful areas of Annapurna region. First go to Mardi Himal and summit the Mardi Himal Base Camp then trek to Khopra ridge is more common and easier. Khopra ridge with Khayer Lake or just visit the Khopra Danda is the option of Khopra ridge trekking.

Khopra danda and Khair Lake trek is the most scenic and unspoiled short trek in the Annapurna Himalayas. The trek goes off the busy trekking trail and offers brilliant mountain scenery, wilderness, landscape and classic trekking adventure in the Himalayas. The trail goes even through off the busy routes of Annapurna - basic community run teahouses make the trek cost effective and ethical by paying locals people.
