Manaslu Tsum Valley trek is a fantastic journey in around Manaslu, it is providing opportunity to do two trekking trails at once. Manaslu is worlds eight highest peaks and Tsum Valley known as the Hidden Valley a land of monasteries and hamlets with totally Tibetan population lies on the northern part of Manaslu on the Nepal-Tibet border.

The Tsum valley is still less exposed in comparison with other trekking trails, with relatively virgin and less beaten paths in comparison with more popular trekking trails in Nepal. In Tsum Valley area there are still very basic accommodations (Teahouse/Lodges) facilities for those who wish to make a teahouse trekking.

The people have their own way of family culture, Polyandry structure is practice in this area- All the brothers in the family are married to a single girl. The Tsum Valley and Manaslu area is full of imminent mountains, passes, deep gorges, hamlets, Buddhist monasteries, Chortens, and Mani walls. The Tsum valley trek offer great views of the Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Buddha Himal ranges.

We drive to Arughat from Kathmandu where the trek commences. In the initial days of the trek, we explore the Budhi Gandaki Valley through a mix of dense forest, terraced fields and hill settlement. As we leave the main Manaslu Trail from Lokpa for the Tsum valley, suddenly we get a sentiment of entering truly into the hidden valley. While on the trek, we also pass through the alpine forests, glacial rivers, and enjoy the warm hospitality of ethnic people.

We also visit several ancient Buddhist Gompas of the region including the Milarepas Cave, Rachen gompa, Mu Gompa among others. After the Tsum valley the trek path join with Manaslu Circuit trek and end at Annapurna route, Besi Sahar.
