Gosaikunda, also spelled Gosainkunda Lake is most popular destination for the trekking, as a sacred holy pilgrim place for both the believer of Hinduism and Buddhism. Gosainkunda trek is requires some trekking experience and good physical condition because Gosaikunda Lake is 4,300 m, altitude above the sea level and if you want to cross the high pass after Gosainkunda known as Lauribina Pass/Gosaikunda pass at 4610m. After you cross the Lauribina pass/Gosaikunda pass enter the beautiful Helambu Valley. People believe that once you take a shower in this holy Gosainkunda Lake, all wash your pain, sorrows, and sins will be gone. If the lake remain calm, it can be seen the image of Lord Shiva in middle the lake at bottom. People celebrate great festivals two times in a year. These festivals are very important in shamanism. There are other lakes more than 100 lakes. Among them Bhairab Kund, Saraswati kund, Dhudh Kund, Nag Kund, Surya Kund, Bhut Kunda etc.
Gosainkunda trekking offers great views of beautiful lakes with amazing mountains views including Ganesh himal range and Langtang Lirung I and II, Manaslu, Nadgi Chuli and Nagdi Himal etc. Gosainkunda trek itinerary is possible to make short means starts the trek from Dhunche and after Gosainkunda trek back to Dhunche instead of heading to Helambu Valley over the Gosainkunda Pass/Lauribina Pass (4610m).

After Gopte few hour walk you will be reach in Tharepati then you choose route one lead to Sundarijal and another lead to Melamchi gaon. If you choose the route lead to Melamchi Gaon it will be the perfect way to explore the Helambu valley. It is possible to end trek at Thimbu, Talamarang or Melamchi Pul but our program itinerary end the trek at Melamchi Pul where you get the bus to Kathmandu.
