Introduction to Everest Luxury Trek

Our journey begins with a scenic mountain flight to Lukla (2,840m) from Kathmandu or, during the peak trekking seasons, from Ramechhap (Manthali Airport). Ramechhap Airport is about a 4–6-hour drive from Kathmandu and is used for Lukla flights during busy trekking periods. From Lukla, the trail follows the Dudh Koshi Valley toward Phakding, passing small settlements, cultivated fields, and forested hillsides. We continue through Toktok and Benkar before reaching Monjo and entering Sagarmatha National Park.
Beyond Monjo, the trail leads through Jorsalle and follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and winding through pine and rhododendron forests toward Namche Bazaar (3,440m). The route becomes steeper as we approach the Hillary Suspension Bridge, followed by stone steps and uphill switchbacks through the forest. After reaching Namche, we take time to acclimatize and explore the town, with opportunities to visit local markets, cafés, viewpoints, and nearby Sherpa communities.
From Namche, the trail climbs gradually toward Syangboche and the Everest View Hotel, where we stop to enjoy panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, and other Himalayan peaks. We stay at the Everest View Hotel and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.
The following morning, we continue toward Tengboche. The trail follows the hillside before descending through rhododendron and pine forests toward Phunki Tenga. After crossing the Dudh Koshi River, the route climbs steadily through the forest to Tengboche Monastery (3,867m), situated on a scenic ridge with impressive views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. The monastery is an important center of Tibetan Buddhism in the Khumbu and provides an opportunity to experience the region's spiritual and cultural traditions.
After exploring Tengboche, we follow the trail back through Phunki Tenga, Kyangjuma, and Namche Bazaar. From Namche, the route descends through the forests and villages of Jorsalle and Monjo before following the Dudh Koshi Valley to Phakding and Lukla. From Lukla, we take an early morning flight to Kathmandu or, during the peak trekking seasons, to Ramechhap (Manthali Airport), depending on the flight schedule.
