    Detailed Day-to-Day Itinerary

    Day 01

    Arrival at Paro International Airport and Transfer to Thimphu (2,300 m)

    Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you'll be greeted and assisted through immigration. Afterward, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and, time permitting, explore local markets or take a stroll through the city. Relax with a traditional Bhutanese dinner and rest for the night, ready for the days ahead.

    Day 02

    Thimphu Sightseeing – Drive Back to Paro (65 km, ~1-hour drive)

    After breakfast, begin your day exploring the cultural highlights of Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, Folk Heritage Museum, and Textile Museum, gaining insight into Bhutanese religion, history, and traditional lifestyles. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, sampling Bhutanese favorites like momos and Phaksha Paa. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Buddha Dordenma statue and browse local handicrafts at the Craft Bazaar. Later, drive back to Paro along a scenic route. Check into your hotel, relax over dinner, and rest up for the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery the next day.

    Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery – Afternoon Sightseeing in Paro

    Start early with breakfast before heading to the base of Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang). The 4 km hike takes about 2 hours to ascend, with steep sections but stunning views at an altitude of 3,120 meters. Rest at the midway cafeteria before exploring the monastery, famous for its temples and meditation caves. Afterward, descend back to the base, have lunch, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Visit the National Museum, Paro Dzong, and Kyichu Lhakhang to explore Bhutan’s rich history and culture. Conclude the day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay in Paro.

    Transfer to Paro International Airport (20 min drive) for your final departure

    After breakfast, check out from your hotel and enjoy a short 20-minute drive to Paro International Airport. Your guide will assist with check-in and luggage. Bid farewell to Bhutan and proceed through security. Board your flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Bhutan's stunning landscapes and warm hospitality.

    Packing & Gear

    You’ll need layered clothing, good trekking boots, a daypack, a sleeping bag (if not provided), and basic toiletries. A detailed packing list will be shared upon booking.
