Day 01

Arrival at Paro International Airport and Transfer to Thimphu (2,300 m)

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you'll be greeted and assisted through immigration. Afterward, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and, time permitting, explore local markets or take a stroll through the city. Relax with a traditional Bhutanese dinner and rest for the night, ready for the days ahead.

Day 02

Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Punakha

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Thimphu, followed by a sightseeing tour of the city’s iconic landmarks, including Tashichho Dzong, Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and the Craft Bazaar. After lunch, embark on a scenic 3-4 hour drive to Punakha, passing through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax, with time to explore the town or visit attractions like Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang. End the day with a delicious Bhutanese dinner and rest for the evening.

Day 03

Excursion to Gangtey (2,890 m) & Wangdiphodrang (1,460 m)

After breakfast in Punakha, drive to Gangtey for breathtaking views of the valley. Visit Gangtey Monastery and take a nature walk along the Gangtey Nature Trail, where you may spot black-necked cranes. Enjoy lunch in Gangtey before continuing to Wangdue Phodrang. Visit Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, perched above the confluence of the Punakha and Dang Chu rivers. In the late afternoon, return to Punakha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Drive from Wangdiphodrang to Paro (2,260 m)

After breakfast in Wangdue Phodrang, enjoy a scenic 4-5 hour drive to Paro, passing through beautiful valleys and stopping at scenic viewpoints. Take a tea break to interact with locals before arriving in Paro. Check in at your hotel and, time permitting, explore the town or visit local markets. End the day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay in Paro.

Day 05

Paro - Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (5 hours round trip)

After an early breakfast, drive to the base of Tiger’s Nest Monastery and begin your hike through pine forests with stunning views of Paro Valley. Reach the first viewpoint for panoramic views, then continue to the monastery to explore its temples and shrines. Enjoy lunch at the cafeteria before descending back to the base. Return to Paro and spend the afternoon at leisure, followed by dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 06

Departure from Paro

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your hotel and enjoy a scenic drive to Paro International Airport. Our representative will assist with check-in, and you’ll have time to reflect on your unforgettable Bhutan experience before departing. Accommodation & Facilities

Packing & Gear

You’ll need layered clothing, good trekking boots, a daypack, a sleeping bag (if not provided), and basic toiletries. A detailed packing list will be shared upon booking.
Yes, you can rent most essential gear like down jackets, sleeping bags, and poles from local shops at affordable rates.
Keep your daypack light with only essentials (water, snacks, jacket). The porter will carry your main bag, usually limited to 10–15 kg.
