Trek Summary

Australian Camp Trek is one of the easy and short trekking routes located in the beautiful foothills of the Annapurna region. To start the Australian Camp Trek, one has to first go to Pokhara.

Pokhara, a popular tourist town in Nepal, is the starting point for most treks in the Annapurna region. Australian Camp Trek is a short trek from Pokhara, the trek starts from Kande (driving distance is one hour, 30 km) or Dhampus Phedi (driving distance is 45 minutes, 19 km).

The Australian Camp from Pokhara is a good day hiking trip, but without an overnight stay at the Australian Camp, you miss out on the sunset and sunrise views that are most important while taking this trip.

Generally, a two-day trek is good for an Australian camp trek, which includes a night stay at an Australian camp and the next day coming back to Pokhara via a visit to the village of Dhampus.

The trek is a pleasant walk on a Himalayan trail that offers good-looking views over the valleys and dramatic views of the Annapurna mountain range including Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6434 m), Machhapuchhre (6,997 m). Presents the scene. Fishtail" and many other snow-capped mountains.

The Australian Camp Trek can be done throughout the year and is also very suitable for people without any hiking experience and for people of all ages. The highest point of this trek is 2060 meters at the Australian Camp. The trek will give you a great impression of the Himalayas in all their splendor.

The colors will keep changing from sunrise to sunset and offer the most incredible views. You will hike through dense forests, along hills, and through mountain villages. You will spend the night at a teahouse/lodge in the Australian Camp.

Don't think much if you don't have a long time or energy to go for a long trek, then just manage time for this trekking and get the experience of walking in Nepal.
