Normally, most trekkers start the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Besisahar or Bhulebhule and finish it in Jomsom. There are many advantages to finish the trek in Jomsom and fly or drive to Pokhara from there. In this way, trekkers can save time and do not have to walk on the road between Jomsom and Tatopani (hot spring).

Jomsom is a town in the Mustang district of Nepal and a frequent endpoint for those wishing to cut short the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The flight from Jomsom to Pokhara is a beautiful and exciting experience as it passes through the deep Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world.

The trek from Bhulbhule you will follow the trail through beautiful villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. You will pass through Jagat, Dharapani, Chame, Pisang, Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, Thorong High Camp, Thorong La Pass (the highest point of the trek at an altitude of 5,416 meters), and Muktinath (3,800 meters).

From Muktinath, continue trekking to Jomsom (2,713 meters). This part of the trail is relatively easier, as you will be descending. The next day, you will drive or fly out from Jomsom to Pokhara, depending on your travel plans. The quickest and most convenient way to travel from Jomsom to Pokhara is by taking a domestic flight. The flight duration is approximately 25 minutes. But if you prefer a land journey, you can take a bus or private jeep from Jomsom to Pokhara. This takes about 7–8 hours.

This trek is especially good for those trekkers who have little time in Nepal and are very interested in crossing Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) and experiencing the beauty of nature and the amazing culture of the region.
