Annapurna Sunrise Trek is takes to you at Poon hill (3210m) for stunning sunrise views over chain of Himalayan peaks includes world three highest 8,000 meters (world 7th Mt. Dhaulagiri -8th highest Mt. Manaslu and 10th highest Mt. Annapurna) with majestic Machhapuchare Himal “Fish Tail”. Annapurna sunrise trek known as Poon Hill trek is a relatively easy walk through the beautiful mixed ethnic villages and jungle with orchids, massive Himalayan bamboo and dense rhododendron forests. This trek is possible to make short or long as per client’s wish. The trek trail is start from Nayapul (new bring), it is just one hour driving from Pokhara city but first day of our trek available a motor road between Nayapul to Tikhedhunga so if you don’t wish to walk in road it is possible to use transport. Most of trekkers decided to make Annapurna sunrise trek including Ghorepani and Ghandruk circuit/circle, the trek end at Nayapul or end at Dhampus Phedi.

Our below given trek itinerary is included popular places like Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Ghandruk and Jhinu Danda, the best attraction of Jhinu Danda is natural hot spring where people are going to taking a bath in natural hot spring. The Poonhill and hot spring trek trail passes through beautiful Gurung village’s outstanding landscape, natural hot springs and the variety of flora and fauna. You can study the Gurung culture, tradition, and their living style.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our staff at Kathmandu airport and you will be transferred to Hotel where you meet the person you are emailing with for trip briefing. You will get entire information of your trip.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek Preparation
After breakfast, Kathmandu visits Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Boudhanath Stupa which are all World Heritage Sites. Durbar Square throws light on the life of the royals in ancient times. Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most important pilgrimage places for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as Monkey Temple and Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. Late in the afternoon, we introduced you to your mountain/trek guide. overnight at Hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (850m) 7 hours driving
After early breakfasts at hotel, someone will pick up you for Pokhara transfer by tourist bus. Normally the bus journey is for 7 hours with two short stops. Along the way you will enjoy with views of local villages and green Hills and the road mostly fallows along the Trishuli River. Upon arrival at Pokhara bus station you will be transferred to Hotel.

Day 04: Pokhara drive to Nayapul then trek to Ulleri (1960m) one hour drive and 5 hours walking
Depending on group size either car or jeep or coaster will be arranged for short drive to Nayapul which is around 55 km from Pokhara, start point of Poon Hill Trek. We will trek all the way up to Hile from where we will hike up further ahead which will take us to Ulleri. Ulleri is small area mostly occupied by tea houses and lodges, it does not make any difference on choosing a room cause no more mountain view from Ulleri.

Day 05: Ulleri trek to Ghorepani (2855m) 5 hours walking
Steep uphill from Ulleri might be very difficult although trails are all paved with ladder before reaching gentle flat trail. Trails seem bit busy as you are walking on one of the most busiest and popular trekking trail in Nepal. Poon Hill Trek can be trek throughout entire year regardless of weather like no such big effect of winter although Poon Hill will be covered by snow. Once we reach Ghorepani we will hike up a little to reach Upper Ghorepani, which is more scenic in compare to Lower Ghorepani.

Day 06: Visit Poon Hill (3210) then trek Tadapani (2610m) 6 hours walking
An early climb to the summit of Poon Hill (3200 m) to watch the sun rise across a magnificent Himalayan panorama. After breakfast we follow a long ridge through rhododendron forests to Deurali. We then walk through impressive river gorges with the chance to see Langur monkeys in the trees. Our destination is Tadapani.

Day 07: Tadapani trek Ghandruk (1940m) 3 hours walk
We walk along a shaded forest trail, followed by terraced fields of maize and potatoes to Ghandruk. From here we have fantastic views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare. It is a major settlement of the Gurung, an ethnic group of Nepal. It is a very famous Gurung village with terraces and offers excellent mountain views. After arriving, it is possible to take a short walk to explore the village, visiting a cultural museum and monastery

Day 08: Ghandruk trek to Jhinu Danda  (1780m) 4 hours walking
Today we trek to Jhinu via Komrong Danda. There is a natural hot spring near Jhinu. You can have a healing bath in natural hot water. It is believed that taking bath in the water heals diseases such as body pain and orthopedics related diseases. The hot is located at the bank of Modi River, 15-20 minutes downhill.

Day 09:  Jhinu Danda trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara (850m)  6hrs walking 1 hrs drive
On our way to Nayapul from Jhinu Danda we get the chance to enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. After having lunch on the way, our trek will end at Nayapul then drive back to Pokhara.

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu (1350m) 7 Hours driving
After breakfasts- Drive to Kathmandu, Normally Bus leaves at 7:30am from Pokhara and arrive Kathmandu at 3:00pm. You enjoy the beautiful villages on the river bank as you mostly fallows along the river.

Day 11: Depart Kathmandu
The trip comes at the end today. If you prefer to extend your trip let us know otherwise we will transfer you to Kathmandu airport. Normally 3 hours before your flight you are required to check in.
