Annapurna Panorama Trek

Annapurna Panorama Trek

Ghorepani Trekking also called Annapurna Panorama Trek, Poon Hill Trek. Ghorepani Trekking is one of the most popular trekking located in Annapurna Region of Nepal. Annapurna Panorama Trek takes you at the most beautiful viewpoints, including Ghorepani, Poon hill and Ghandruk village from where you can see the wonderful mountains views, nature beauty, wildlife and lovely culture with smiling people. From Ghorepani it takes about 40 minutes walking time to reach at Poon Hill (3210 meters) to see the panorama views with prime sunrise. Poon Hill offers one of the best Sunrise views in the whole Annapurna Region.

Of course, it is a short and easy trek in Annapurna to see the wonderful views of above 8000 Meters mountains including Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Annapurna (I) as well as other less than 8000 meters higher mountains including Annapurna south, Machhapuchhre (fishtail), Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli and with a maze of other peaks slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes.

Ghorepani Trekking (Poon Hill Trek) starts from Nayapul, just about one-hour drive from tourist hub Pokhara. The trek via Ulleri village is a more common use route, but it is also possible to trek via Ghandruk village. The trek offers spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep subtropical valleys.

Ghorepani Trekking (Annapurna Panorama Trek) Itinerary is possible to create short and long as per client’s wish, but our below given itinerary is the more common use for the Ghorepani Ghandruk circuit/circle trek. On this trek trail there is good availability of teahouse/Lodge facilities, so most of the trekkers prefer to eat and sleep at teahouse which is much cheaper than doing a camping trekking.
