Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Trek

Annapurna Base Camp trek return by Helicopter (Heli) is one of the most popular and luxury holiday in Nepal, it is suitable for those who don’t have enough time to return back by walks from Annapurna Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp also known as Annapurna Sanctuary, the place where is thousands of nature lovers visited each year. The trek route, its natural beauty is exemplified in its excellent landscapes, beautiful valleys and lush green hamlets that bring more happiness. Annapurna Base Camp trek is possible to start from several points but start from Nayapul then go up to Ghorepani poon Hill (3210m) and heading to the Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) is more common.

Regarding the Helicopter,
From Annapurna Base Camp there are not available regular sharing Helicopter so we need to charter the helicopter even you are single people. Annapurna Base Camp trek route there are good network of teahouse/lodge but peak trekking season very difficult to get the rooms normally in Dovan and Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) and transfer to Hotel
After landing at the Tribhuwan International Airport, we will be greeted by a representative of Alpine Adventure Club who will drop us off at our hotel. We then check-in at the hotel, freshen up and if time permitted visit our office to pay the rest of bill, collect the information and signup the trip agreement or not enough time office authorize person come to your hotel to collect the payment. Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek Preparation
We tour Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa and Bouddhanath stupa which are all world heritage sites. The Durbar Square sheds light on the life of the royals in ancient times. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple and Baudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. At late afternoon, we introduced with mountain/trek guide. Overnight Hotel

Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Pokhara (850m)
Trekking staff will arrive at your hotel at 6:30 am to pick you up to tourist bus station for journey to Pokhara. Normally bus leave at 7:00 am from Kantipath and it takes about 7 hours from Kathmandu. Today, you can take a breakfast in your hotel that you order earlier night or request to manage packing breakfast that you eat in bus journey because on the way we are not stopping for breakfast as well not available good breakfast but we stop for a lunch so try to eat Nepalese food (Dal Bhat). Afternoon you arrive in Pokhara then check in your hotel and refresh and look around lakeside. Pokhara is a beautiful valley, with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (shape of fish tail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the east. The town of Pokhara is set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu providing the perfect starting point for our trek. Overnight at hotel

Day 04: Pokhara drive to Naya Pul then trek to Ulleri (1960m/6430Ft)
Pokhara one hour drive to Nayapul to start our trek. We follow the south bank of the river. After several hours of trek, we will pass through sub tropical valley forests, sometimes on the carved trail on the side of the cliff. After lunch, we cross the Modi Khola (river) via a suspension bridge to the village of Tikhedhunga from here trek quite steep trail to reach Ulleri village Overnight at Lodge/Teahouse

Day 05: Ullri trek to Ghorepani (2855m/ 9366ft)
After breakfast we trek to Ghorepani village the name Ghorepani in Nepali means horse-water owing to its role as an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop. Ghorepani is an interesting place with small shops and stalls for selling local products and craft. The town has two parts: one in a saddle and the other a few hundred feet lower. Since Ghorepani lies quite higher than our previous stop, we begin to feel the chilly weather especially in the evenings. Overnight at Lodge/teahouse

Day 06: Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani (2610m/8,562ft)
Today will be a special day because we conquer Poon Hill- an icon of Annapurna region. We climb the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3210mtrs). The efforts will be rewarded with spectacular views of Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and the Annapurnas. After taking photos and having some coffee or tea or hot chocolate, we return back to Gorepani. Upon breakfast, we head east and climb a nearby ridge. We descend through rhododendron forest, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way and reach Tadapani for overnight at Lodge/teahouse

Day 07: Tadapani to Sinuwa via Chhomrong (2360m/7742ft)
From Tadapani, we make a steep descent through the dense and dark forest. The route passes through the west bank of the Modi Khola. Then, we descent steeply down the village of Chuile coming over to the Kimrong Khola. Then, we continue a steep climb till to Chhomrong. Upon arrival at Chhomrong, we encounter with the mighty peak of Annapurna South, with the Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhare) facing it across the valley. Chhomrong is a beautiful village located on the lap of giant Annapurna massive. Upon leaving behind Chhomrong along the Modi Khola, we will be at inhabited foothills into the high step and wooded slopes of Himalayas. We cross the suspension bridge then trek up to Sinuwa Danda. Overnight at Lodge/teahouse

Day 08: Sinuwa to Deurali (3230m/10,597ft)
The ascent from Sinuwa becomes somewhat flatter. The trail passes through thick and dark arresting rhododendron forest up to Khuldighar. Then the trail passes through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Dovan. The day starts with gentle gradual ascend following the trail above the river through a thick bamboo, oak and rhododendron forests up the side of the canyon. We cross two streams over small bridges. The trail further passes through solitary places. The nature's wilderness and solitariness give peace to our mind. There is also the possibility of seeing a variety of species of wildlife such as wild pig, deer, and snow leopard. Overnight at Lodge/teahouse

Day 09: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,549ft): Via Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3700m/12139ft)
Today we start our trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC). The trail climbs gently through a river bed and then it rises steeply over the mountain side. There are also avalanche prone areas at some points on the trail. After about half an hour's walk from Deurali, we will find ourselves in middle of river bed surrounded by giant snow-covered mountains. When the sun rises, the snow on mountains shine and river valley is filled with warm sun rays. The hike to Machhapuchhare Base Camp is somewhat strenuous but the unfolding views of the majestic Machhapuchre are certainly a rewarding experience. On the way to Annapurna Base Camp from Machhapuchhare Base Camp, the vegetation disappears. We will encounter with the snow boulders melting and forming small streams. The path widens as we enter the Sanctuary, follows a stream, and then climbs to a few huts alongside a moraine. Upon arrival at this juncture, we will have sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above the sanctuary. Annapurna Base Camp sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding panorama of the 360 degrees. The heart inspiring views of Machhapuchre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli and other peaks will be the boon of our hard efforts. Climax of our trip almost ends today! Overnight at Lodge/teahouse (4130m/13549ft).

Day 10: Helicopter Ride to Pokhara and back to Kathmandu
This is another most anticipated day of the trek as today, after enjoy the beautiful views in the morning and take a breakfast at lodge. Your Helicopter is landing to take back to Pokhara for small break and continue ride to Kathmandu. Flight by Helicopter from Annapurna Base Camp to Pokhara is amazing experience offer aerial views of the mountain peaks, beautiful landscape, green hills, terrace farmlands and forests. Day 11: Depart Kathmandu
We will drop you at the airport by our private vehicle according to your airport time. It is recommended to reach the airport at least two hours prior to departure.
