Everest Base Camp Trek

Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek
$1599 All Inclusive Price.

The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular multi-day treks located in the northeast of Kathmandu, Nepal. The full Everest Base Camp trek is required 14 days in Nepal. The best time to visit the Everest Base Camp (5364m) is spring and autumn but possible to do the Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek any time of year. Teahouse trekking is possible on the main trail to Everest Base Camp which is more popular in last few years. Tea House trek is trekking using local trekking lodges for accommodation and meals without setting camp (Tent Camp) on the route. Some places in Everest region there are available luxury hotels even expensive than Kathmandu’s 5 star Hotels but our below given price is included accommodation and meals during the trek in normal teahouse/lodge. The Everest Base Camp is quite different than other base camps because we can’t see Mount Everest from the Everest Base Camp, there are other insanely tall mountains blocking the view so we need to climb the Kala Patthar (5545m), a small peak (High point of EBC trek) offering views of Mt. Everest, the khumbu icefall and other beautiful mountains.

The Everest Base Camp Trek route passes through Sherpa villages and old Tibetan monasteries (gompas), mani stones whose shapes echo the mountains, prayer wheels so large that they take our full body-weight to turn, ice-cold rivers and the world’s highest suspension bridge, mossy forests and bare, high-altitude rock-scapes. And of course, views of the highest mountains in the world, Everest and Ama Dablam the most spectacular among them.

Most of the trek is through the Sagarmatha national park (Sagarmatha is the Nepali name for Everest), a UNESCO world heritage site and a refuge for musk deer, red pandas, snow leopard, Himalayan tahr, black bear and many spectacular types of pheasant. The trek starts from Lukla, which is serviced by airlines with daily flights from Kathmandu. The Classic Everest Base Camp Trek is the adventure of a lifetime. Join a trek with Alpine Adventure Club, the high altitude trekking experts. Book a group or private trek (departure when you want). Trek with a experience guide and feel the real Himalayan adventure..  Binod Thapa
